Responsibilities:

• Administration, deployment, and configuration of high-load MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL databases;

• Analyzing and resolving database errors, promptly handling issues, failures, and locks;

• Monitoring the state of databases, collecting data, and diagnosing problems;

• Maintaining high availability of databases;

• Ensuring database backup procedures;

• Participating in the resolution of emergency situations related to server software;

• Developing technical documentation within your area of responsibility (using regulatory documents in the field of information technology and information security).

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in administering MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL databases;

• Expert-level skills in designing architecture, creating, configuring, and operating databases;

• Experience in setting up and maintaining fault-tolerant database configurations;

• Strong knowledge of database security, backup, recovery, and data integrity;

• Experience with Windows Server and *nix operating systems — understanding of OS architecture (memory, processes, I/O system, disk subsystem);

• Expert experience in performance optimization and configuration of MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL databases;

• Experience in writing database scripts (SQL/T-SQL/pgSQL);

• Ability to write scripts in one of the scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or others);

• Proficiency in using version control systems (Git);

• Knowledge of database migration tools (Liquibase, Flyway, or similar).
