Barcelona is currently hosting Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, the world's premier event for mobile technology, digital transformation, and innovation.
Uzbekistan's delegation is led by Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies, and includes Dildora Tursunova, Director of Strategic Development at UZINFOCOM.

MWC features over 2,800 exhibiting companies, including industry giants like Huawei, Dell, Meta, Qualcomm, and Samsung. More than 1,200 speakers are also present, featuring top executives from Google, Microsoft, and other leading companies, all discussing the future of technology.
During the event, the Uzbek delegation participated in several key sessions:

The Ministerial Programme, a forum attended by government leaders and representatives from international organizations.

Huawei's "Digital Economy Development Forum" and a specialized exhibition showcasing cutting-edge technological solutions.

The "Giga-2025" forum, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and UNICEF.
At these venues, the delegation discussed pressing industry issues, presented Uzbekistan's own initiatives, and forged new connections to foster future collaboration in the IT sector. It was also announced that Tashkent will host the regional "GSMA M360 Eurasia 2025" event on May 21-22, 2025.
