A seminar titled “Smart Medicine — A New Stage of Efficiency”
was held in cooperation with the Adolat Social Democratic Party faction and the Committee on Innovative Development and Information Technology of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

Speakers included Committee Chairperson I. Abdullaev, Adolat party representatives T. Palvanov and M. Valiev, Deputy Minister of Health O. Omonov, and UZINFOCOM’s Director of Healthcare Digitalization R. Sultanov.
The seminar focused on key priorities for implementing “smart medicine” in the healthcare sector and the parliament’s role in supporting these initiatives. Participants reviewed current statistics and recent developments in this area.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of creating a unified digital healthcare platform, integrating medical information systems, and expanding access to electronic services for citizens. Special attention was also given to digitalizing primary care, rolling out an e-prescription system, and automating medical data processing within the DMED system.
