Visit of FIDE representatives to UZINFOCOM
A delegation of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Board, Dana Reiznice, visited the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of the visit, the guests also visited UZINFOCOM, where they were received by the Director of Digital Government Projects, Rashid Khudaybergenov.

Preparations for the World Chess Olympiad The purpose of the meeting was to discuss pressing issues related to preparations for the 46th World Chess Olympiad, which is planned to be held in Uzbekistan in 2026. The parties discussed key aspects of organizational preparation for the event, which will be held in Samarkand in the autumn of 2026. |

Technological Solutions Special attention was paid to the issues of applying information and communication technologies, developing an information system for registering participants, as well as providing technical support and maintenance for the upcoming event. Following the meeting, participants exchanged proposals and discussed further steps in preparation for the upcoming international event. |
