ML Engineer (Team Lead)

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and optimization of ML pipelines for solutions based on STT, TTS, and LLMs.

Fine-tune speech recognition and language models for low-resource languages and dialects.
-
Collaborate with the Data Annotation team to ensure high-quality datasets for model training.
-
Transform ML prototypes into scalable, production-ready pipelines.
-
Optimize model performance to achieve maximum accuracy, low latency, and efficiency.
-
Automate key stages of CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment.
-
Mentor junior ML engineers and guide the team in coding best practices, model management, and MLOps.

Document processes, write technical specifications, and create user guides for ML models and pipelines.
-
Ensure strict adherence to data privacy standards and model security protocols.
Requirements:
-
5+ years of experience in Machine Learning or as an MLE.

Proven track record in STT, TTS, or NLP projects.
-
Deep understanding of LLMs and experience fine-tuning models for low-resource languages.

Proficiency in Python ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, etc.).
-
Experience integrating ML models into complex, data-driven ecosystems.
-
Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps platforms (AWS SageMaker, MLFlow, Kubeflow).

Experience managing data annotation pipelines and Data QA.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):

Experience with ASR frameworks (Wav2vec, Kaldi, SpeechBrain, Whisper).

Competency in the Apache Airflow ecosystem.

Familiarity with TTS frameworks (VITS, XTTS, Coqui TTS, Tacotron).

Experience in Multilingual NLP and model tuning.
-
Knowledge of dialect recognition technologies.
-
Competency in Apache Spark.

Deep expertise in LLM/Generative AI models.
