Ministry of Healthcare: Digital healthcare platform will be created jointly with UZINFOCOM

In particular, these same requirements and needs were taken into account in the process of transforming the healthcare system of Uzbekistan. The resolution of the President of our country "On additional measures to digitize the healthcare system" dated May 1, 2023 was adopted for this purpose.

It outlines priority tasks for the introduction of advanced digital technologies into the healthcare system, the creation of a digital healthcare platform, the introduction of a database complex for medical and preventive institutions of all levels of the sphere, the development of software and an electronic platform.

In particular, the resolution stipulates that the project "Support for Digital Health Reforms" will be implemented at the expense of credit and grant funds of the German Development Bank (KfW Bank). The creation of a digital healthcare platform is the first component of this promising project.
Yesterday, in connection with the implementation of this important task, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Health and the single integrator for the creation and support of state information systems - UZINFOCOM LLC.

What opportunities does the "Digital Healthcare Platform" offer?

First of all, all healthcare institutions in the healthcare system will be integrated into a single platform. In addition, full electronic information exchange will be established between medical institutions and state organizations. This creates an opportunity to save time and resources in the system. Productivity will increase significantly.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the Minister of Health, Asilbek Khudayarov, and the CEO of UZINFOCOM, Emil Gimranov.
