Cooperation between UZINFOCOM and Fintech Association of Uzbekistan
Fintech industry development is planned, including payment systems, blockchain technologies, tokenization and biometric identification.

On February 6, 2024, the Single Integrator UZINFOCOM signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Fintech Association of Uzbekistan. The global goal of this cooperation is to develop the fintech industry in the country.
This partnership is conceived as a catalyst for strengthening the financial well-being of organizations and will focus on the transformation of Uzbekistan into a digital society, which provides for the transformation of payment systems, integration of electronic services into the mechanisms of public administration and strengthening the interaction between the state and citizens (G2C).
The meeting discussed issues and areas of cooperation such as:
- Conducting a workshop review on UZINFOCOM's UZ blockchain project (https://token.uz/ru).
- Participation of UZINFOCOM in the events already planned with the Regulator and experts of the financial technology market.
- Working out attraction of external sources of funding (grants, investments) for realization of joint initiatives and events.
- Consideration of involvement of UZINFOCOM as an expert organization in the educational program of the Association "Fintech 360" on the vector of development of blockchain, cybersecurity and data management (DG/DM).
The latter is a big step in transforming and rethinking Uzbekistan's economic environment. The rise of financial literacy with a focus on the development of fintech in general, will help to set accents, move to sustainable business principles and intensive development of the country's fintech industry.
UZINFOCOM, as well as the Financial Association of Uzbekistan, are optimistic about future cooperation. They are confident that it will contribute to the development of the fintech industry and help create an improved and sustainable economic environment in Uzbekistan.
