Seminar on "Peculiarities of trademark use in a domain name"
Registrars of .UZ domain zone took part in the seminar on "Features of trademark use in domain name", organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of UZINFOCOM within the framework of the program "Month without counterfeit".

The seminar was organized to improve trademark protection in the .UZ domain and to prevent cases of illegal use of other trademarks in domain names.
The participants discussed the peculiarities of domain name and trademark use, cybersquatting and its state regulation, as well as analyzed cases of intellectual property rights violation on the example of various companies.
It should be reminded that "United Integrator UZINFOCOM" LLC is the administrator of the .UZ domain zone, provides technical support of the root server, updates the DNS database and the main registry, ensures the operation of the "whois" service, updates the database for the possibility of unimpeded obtaining information by any person.
For reference: Registration, management and use of domain names in the .uz domain is regulated by Regulation No. 1830 "On the Procedure for Registration and Use of Domain Names in the "uz" Domain" registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
