.UZΒ Domain Root Server Launched in Kazakhstan

The server's IP addresses are:
IPv4: 80.241.0.234
IPv6: 2a01:7640:0:d::2

DNS (Domain Name System) is the technology that translates human-readable domain names into IP addresses that internet devices use to connect. Expanding the geographical distribution of these servers enhances the stability and speed of the domain zone, giving users faster access toΒ .UZΒ websites.

Hosted in Kazakhstan, the new server is connected to KazNIC's high-speed network infrastructure. As a result, users from Kazakhstan and neighboring Central Asian countries can now accessΒ .UZΒ domain resources with minimal latency.

The server has passed all necessary technical inspections and has been approved by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), the international organization that coordinates the domain name system.

Placing a root DNS server in Kazakhstan is another key step in strengthening theΒ .UZΒ national domain's infrastructure and fostering regional cooperation in internet development.

Bringing Uznet even closer.
