ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026

In his speech, the Minister highlighted the growing number of startups in Uzbekistan, the development of tech entrepreneurship, and the country’s progress in the IT sector.

Young tech companies took center stage during the ceremony. More than 50 Uzbek startup founders joined the Minister on stage as he encouraged international investors to support promising projects at the early stages of their development.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the official launch of Startup Base, a new platform. The Minister and representatives of the startup ecosystem pressed the symbolic launch button together to mark the occasion.

Sherzod Shermatov also visited the UZINFOCOM stand, where he explored the company’s digital solutions on display.
