The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan is seeking a qualified Technical Coordinator (Deputy Director of DHMU) to oversee the coordination and implementation of digital health initiatives within the Digital Healthcare Management Unit (DHMU). The DHMU plays a crucial role in implementing the Ministry's digital health reform strategy, aiming to improve healthcare delivery, enhance patient care, and strengthen the national healthcare system through the adoption of digital health technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for the DHMU, managing and overseeing digital health initiatives, ensuring effective technical implementation, maintaining data security and privacy, fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, and contributing to the continuous evaluation and improvement of digital health programs.

This is a position requiring strong leadership, management, and technical expertise in the field of digital health. The Technical Coordinator (Deputy Director of DHMU) will play a vital role in advancing digital health efforts in Uzbekistan and ensuring the success of the Ministry's ambitious reform agenda.

The selection will be guided by the KfW Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partners Document version January 2019 (update as of July 2024).
