The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan is seeking a qualified Standardization Specialist to develop and implement standards for digital health systems within the Digital Healthcare Management Unit (DHMU). The DHMU plays a crucial role in implementing the Ministry's digital health reform strategy, aiming to improve healthcare delivery, enhance patient care, and strengthen the national healthcare system through the adoption of digital health technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing standardization strategies for the DHMU, ensuring the alignment of digital health initiatives with national and international standards. The Standardization Specialist will oversee the integration of standardized processes and technologies, ensure data security and privacy compliance, foster collaboration with stakeholders, and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of digital health programs.

This is a position requiring expertise in health informatics, standards development, and digital health technologies. The Standardization Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of standardized systems that align with the Ministry's digital health reform agenda, helping to advance the future of healthcare in Uzbekistan.

The selection will be guided by the KfW Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partners Document version January 2019 (update as of July 2024).

The detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) with relevant information on the background, objectives of the assignment, scope of assignment, reporting requirements, expertise, qualifications, evaluation and award criteria and other relevant information are provided below. The deadline for submission of proposals is on or before 5.00 pm 26 May 2025 (Tashkent time). Any submissions received after the deadline will be rejected.
