The Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Asian Development Bank

The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Kleo Kawawaki, Head of the Market Development and Public-Private Partnership Department, and Mirzo Iskandar Gulyamov, Head of Country Operations at the Permanent Mission of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Uzbekistan, to discuss potential areas of cooperation in the country’s digital economy. The meeting focused on expanding public-private partnership projects and modernizing digital infrastructure.

 

 

 

 

Initiatives for creating high-paying jobs for young professionals and supporting IT education were reviewed. Additionally, opportunities for cooperation in supporting startups and expanding digital services in Uzbekistan’s regions were discussed.
