A delegation from the Japanese corporation Sojitz recently visited Uzbekistan's Ministry of Digital Technologies and the office of UZINFOCOM.
Sojitz, a major Japanese trading and investment firm founded in 2004, focuses on a range of sectors, including automotive, energy, agribusiness, and more.

The visiting delegation was keen to learn about UZINFOCOM's work and current projects, particularly its experience in deploying cutting-edge technology solutions.
A key topic of discussion was the potential for collaboration on implementing a Medical Information System (MIS) at a new, multi-specialty medical center. Sojitz is constructing this center in Samarkand through a public-private partnership.
The parties agreed to arrange on-site demonstrations of the MIS to allow for a thorough assessment of its capabilities. Following these demonstrations, a step-by-step implementation plan will be created, tailored to the specific needs and infrastructure of the new hospital.
