A delegation of Uzbek ambassadors visited the regional branch of UZINFOCOM in Karakalpakstan.
In Nukus, the delegation — comprising Uzbekistan’s ambassadors to South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia — was introduced to several key UZINFOCOM initiatives presented by Aziz Madetov, head of the Karakalpakstan branch.

Highlighted projects included:
• MyID Palm – a biometric palm identification system already launched in the Tashkent metro to simplify fare payments.
• Muxlisa AI Assistant – with ongoing development to support the Karakalpak language.
• Automated Information System of the “El-yurt umidi” Foundation – a digital platform supporting international education programs for Uzbek citizens.
The delegation also visited the Nukus branch of the Ustudy IT Academy, where a dual education system is in place, and free masterclasses are offered to students. Graduates who excel in programming courses may be offered employment opportunities at UZINFOCOM.
The visit concluded with a presentation on potential cooperation in IT solutions, recruitment, and digital integration. This visit marked an important step in strengthening Uzbekistan’s international ties in the high-tech sector.
