During a working visit led by Ruslan Sultanov, Director of Healthcare Digitalization at UZINFOCOM,

The meeting primarily focused on accelerating the construction of a modern, multidisciplinary adult hospital in Uzbekistan—a project funded by the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM / EDCF) in partnership with South Korean enterprises.

Particular emphasis was placed on the project’s digital component. The parties discussed deploying advanced health information technologies, integrating the hospital’s IT systems with Uzbekistan’s national digital healthcare infrastructure, and taking practical steps to expedite both the digital rollout and the associated tender procedures.

The project envisions a state-of-the-art medical facility equipped with cutting-edge medical devices and digital technologies. Digitalization will serve as a cornerstone of the future hospital, enabling streamlined clinical workflows, efficient health data management, and optimized facility operations.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain close cooperation to accelerate project timelines and transition to the practical phase of implementing the digital systems.
